JC Cut-Off Points 2025: Admission Scores for Junior Colleges in Singapore

Posted on August 15, 2025August 15, 2025 by Editor

If you’re planning to enter a Junior College (JC) in 2026, knowing the cut-off points (COP) for each school is essential. The COP reflects the last student’s aggregate score admitted into a particular stream during the previous year’s Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE).
Lower COP values mean higher competition — and getting into the top-tier JCs will require stellar O-Level results.

Below is the full list of JC cut-off points for 2025, including Science, Arts, and Commerce streams.

Key Takeaways

  • Top 3 JCs with the lowest Science/IB COP:
    • Raffles Institution (3)
    • Hwa Chong Institution (4)
    • Anglo-Chinese (Independent) & Eunoia JC (5)
  • Arts Stream tends to have slightly higher COP than Science in most JCs.
  • Millennia Institute is the only institution here offering the Commerce stream, with a COP of 19.
  • A lower COP means more competitive admission — for instance, a Science COP of 3 means you’ll need essentially perfect results to secure a spot.

Choosing the Right JC

When picking a JC, consider not just the cut-off point but also the school’s culture, location, CCAs, and academic strengths. While aiming for a prestigious JC is great, finding a school that fits your learning style and long-term goals is just as important.
